Air Fryer Chicken Fajitas

  • lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts sliced into 2 inch strips
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced into thin strips
  • 1 orange bell pepper sliced into thin strips
  • 1/2 red onion sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fajita seasoning
  • Juice of one lime
  • Your favorite tortillas for serving
  • Toppings such as cheese, salsa, avocado, cilantro for serving


  • In a medium bowl, combine chicken pieces with 1 Tbsp of olive oil, 1 Tbsp of fajita seasoning, and the lime juice. Let marinate for 30 minutes to tenderize the chicken.
  • Once the chicken is done marinating, preheat the air fryer to 390° F.
  • In another bowl, combine onions, peppers, 1 Tbsp of olive oil, and 1 Tbsp of fajita seasoning.
  • Lightly coat the air fryer basket with oil or use foil on the bottom. Place the chicken into the air fryer basket, then top with some peppers and onions. Try not to overcrowd the basket so everything cooks evenly. You may have to do two batches.
  • Cook the chicken and vegetables for 7-8 minutes. Flip the chicken, then cook another 8 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Serve on tortillas with cheese, avocado, salsa, etc. and enjoy!
